ALADDIN KIDS
Our April junior show, is a kid’s version of Aladdin licensed by Music Theatre International. It is based on the iconic Disney animated film and the Broadway musical.
For performers age 7-12 years (6 years if they have experience on stage)
Rehearsals - 2nd - 5th April 9:30am - 4:30pm
6th April 3 x shows (Timings to be advised)
CAMP ROCK, THE MUSICAL
Our senior show is based on The Camp Rock movies Part 1 and Part 2 which starred Demi Lovato and The Jonas Brothers. Camp Rock, The Musical is a 90 minute one-act show and is licensed by Music Theatre International.
For performers age 10-18
Rehearsals 7th April 12:00pm - 6:00pm
Rehearsals 8th-12th of April 9:30am – 5:00 pm
Half day rehearsal 13th April
13th April 1 x shows (time to be advised)
14th of April 2 x shows (time to be advised)
Melbourne Kids theatre has an all inclusive policy. People of all experience levels are welcome to perform in our shows. Auditions take place in order to cast performers in specific roles. These will be offered based on merit and willingness to put in hard work and commitment. The creative team’s casting decisions are final.
The rehearsal period is an intensive style format. Performers are expected to arrive at the first rehearsal with their lines and song lyrics fully memorised. Performers are required to attend all rehearsals given the short rehearsal time frame.
Aladdin Kids and Camp Rock will be performed at The Skydeck Theatre @ The Space in Prahran, Melbourne. Rehearsals will be held in South Yarra at St. Martins church.
